COVID-19 Update
5-23-20
In light of our President’s remarks today I thought it would be important to communicate how Spokane First will respond moving forward. We will NOT be meeting in person this Sunday 05/24/20 at Spokane First. We will need time to review the CDC guidelines, receive recommendations from our NWMN leaders, and be prepared to provide a safe environment for our return to in-person weekend gatherings. With that said, the news from our President this morning is incredibly encouraging and could potentially lead to us meeting in person on Sunday’s at both of our campuses much sooner than we had originally thought.
We need to remain united. I am sure some of you will be disappointed that we are not meeting this Sunday, while others are concerned that we may be moving too quickly. Now is the time for wisdom, please join me in prayer as we navigate this season in a way that ultimately brings glory to God and is in the best interest of others.
First Family we love you, and truly believe that when this season is behind us our church will be stronger than ever before.

Two Ways to Serve
Our team has been reaching out to local and state leadership as well as numerous community and non-profit organizations in hopes to create opportunities for our church body to serve. We have identified to community organizations that are in need of our help:
Salvation Army
The Salvation Army has seen an increase of 30% in those seeking their services. Spokane First is scheduled to volunteer Fridays in April from 12- 4 pm. We will sort food, stock shelves, and prep food boxes. Only ages 15-65 can volunteer, those whose immune systems have been compromised are asked to stay home. If you are able to serve in this area please email the office or sign-up on the app.
Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels has seen an increase not only in needed meals but also volunteers. Each meal costs $4.50, please consider either donating or volunteering your time to serve this organization. Click here to volunteer or donate: https://www.mowspokane.org/take-action.
